Lawdex online services help the legal community connect with individual and corporate clients, state courts, national process servers, as well as with research and referrals. Lawdex is an e-filing solutions provider to courts, attorneys, and their clients. Since its initial launch at the National Center for State Courts conference in December 2004, Lawdex has worked closely with attorney service firms and the courts to provide advanced document routing services with its software development partner, Nsite Corp. ![]() Lawdex is one of a handful of electronic filing service providers nationally providing e-filing for state courts. Through its members, the CAPPS organization files and serves summons and complaints for an estimated 90% of California's law firms. ![]() Last fall, Lawdex signed an extended agreement to provide e-filing services for the state's largest attorney services association, The California Association of Photocopiers and Process Servers (CAPPS). Today's filing represents Lawdex's continued expansion in the California state market. In addition to its e-file provisions, the project will allow all of the state's courts to share case management records electronically. State developers and proponents expect this effort to near completion within five years. The California Administrative Office of the Courts has initiated e-filing in Sacramento as part of a wider effort to electronically integrate court record systems for every jurisdiction in the state.
